Don't take this the wrong way, I got nothin but love for my Asian brothers and sisters.... but, what's with Asians and needing to travel in packs?! Seriously, when you see an Asian walkin around, how often are they alone? I'd have to say at least 90% of the time, when I see an Asian out and about, he, or she, is with at least 2 other Asians. In fact, I'm willing to double down and say that if two Asians want to go out somewhere, and they're unable to find a third, they won't go. This reminds me of a girl that my roommate from college knew. I met her once and she seemed quite normal, however, later it is brought to my knowledge that she is very afraid of Asians. I was taken back by such a notion. Not that an angry Asian isn't something to be reckoned with (I mean the Japanese always sound so angry anyways, Koreans are normally gansta'd out which can be disconcerting at times ((sorry, Annie, but its true)), and though the Chinese normally seem quite jolly, there are a billion of them, which is pretty scary). However, even with these reasons, I still couldn't see someone picking Asians as the race to be afraid of. We're notably smaller, in general Asians tend to keep to themselves and other Asians, and a lot of us look kind of lost in our day-to-day activities (driving, banking, etc.... but we can shop like crazy). So I asked my roommate where this fear came from, and he said to me, "she thinks that you (meaning any given Asian) are just gonna lose it one day and go crazy (and I guess this means taking every around me out in a whirlwind of crazy Asian...-ness)." What gets me... is that I kind of see her point... but I digress... |
