A Modest Proposal
Most virgins want their first time to be special. After that, it's not such a big deal. Now, since they-- and when I say they, I mean "the man"-- have decided to market abstinence as "the safest sex" (the "the safest sex is no sex at all" campaign), then technically, not only are we all having sex right now in one way or another, but once you become a person you are automatically not a virgin, since the moment you do nothing qualifies as the safest sex. And what is sex but the use, or now, lack of use apparently, of the sex organs? Without some sort of distinction like sex organs, then rocks and trees must be considered as having sex, and I think that you'll agree that that is simply ludicrous. Not only does this distinction help to separate humans from rocks, but also it clearly and simply shows when an abortion should be considered acceptable and how the abortion procedure should be executed. When a fetus is in its earlier stages of development, it has no sex organs. What else has no sex organs? Rocks. Therefore, a fetus without sex organs is comparable to a rock. We do two things with rocks. First, we make paths, roads, stairs, and such out of them. This, to me, is completely unacceptable to do with fetuses, not only economically (the supply of fetuses versus the demand and initiating them as the newest member in the mass-produced widget family) but also, on some level, socially. The other thing that is done with rocks is that they are skipped across bodies of water; "skipping stones" to use the parlance of our time. And, unlike building with them, this is a wonderful use of fetuses. Not only would it provide a chance for family members to bond, but would also help to nourish the sea life that has been drained by us over the years. But I digress… |
