I'd like to thank everyone for all their comments, emails, and phone calls. You all helped me a lot with your support. The initial shock was pretty hard to take, and while I obviously still miss her, 13 years old is a long time for a dog, and like a friend of mine said- it was time. Since I'm leaving for Thailand soon and she most likely wouldn't have survived my trip, I'm glad I could be home for it. Again, thank you to everyone for your thoughts.
