"Now I wanted to tell Chip that it was a bad idea... but I was high, so all that came out was 'Well n*gga, sometimes you gotta race, shit, I don't know'"- Dave Chappelle

Couple observations:

Saw a billboard for Kill Bill Vol. 2 the other day, it showed the faces of everyone she planned on killing with the 3 that were already killed from Kill Bill Vol. 1 in black and white with "DEAD" across them. Now, I was pleasantly surprised with Kill Bill. Wasn't a fan of Pulp Fiction, so I didn't think I'd like it. It was entertaining, so my hopes were raised for the second. Volume 2 was a complete let down for me. It was pretty heavy with dialogue, which I can totally get down with, for example, Rodger Dodger is completely dialogue driven and I loved it. But, and this is just my opinion, if you are gonna make a dialogue heavy film, the writing should be good. Was it as wordy as RD? No. But it's sold as an action, and for an action there was a lot of dialogue that was mostly pretty uninteresting. Another thing that I liked about the first one was because of the way it was filmed, you knew she wasn't gonna die, so the movie was more about how she goes about killing these people, which was fun and cool. In the second one, you still knew she wasn't gonna die, but there were at least 2 parts where you were supposed to be worried that she would. To me that's annoying, I'm obviously not gonna buy it, since I know she gets to Bill at the end. But none of this has a thing to do with my point, which is this: why all the coloreds gotta die in the first one? That's some shit right there...

After about 3 weeks of observing drivers, mostly taxis, I've come to realize that the traffice signs and lines here- whether they are dotted white, solid white, dotted yellow, solid yellow, double yellow, Do Not Enter, One Way, and so on- are more like "suggestions" rather than actual "rules." Now, I've been known to be pretty liberal when it comes to staying in a lane, but they've taken it to another level here. When they say Do Not Enter, it's more like "Well n*gga, sometimes you gotta enter, shit, I don't know."
