June 03, 2004an odd feeling indeedHappy Birthday to my dad!! My mom reads this, so if anyone wants to wish my dad a Happy Birthday, feel free to do it through this site. I'm sure she'll pass it along. It's an odd feeling knowing that you're dad is cooler than you. When a pack of motorcyclists passes you by on the highway... my dad may very well be one of them... awesome. When I would get home at 2 in the morning, my dad would come in at 4... and say something like,"Why you home so early? Whas sa'matter? You got no friends?... thanks, appreciate it. When I went to Thailand the summer after my freshman year in high school, my friends came to my house and hung out with my dad... that's marvelous. He has a sword tied to the back of his bike. A SWORD! What is that about? I'm not even cool enough to understand that. He has a collection of 4 bikes... I have 4 recordings of Justin Timberlake on my Tivo at home... I just reached a level of honesty that borders stupidity.. When I first moved into college, Andrew was already there. I walked into my suite and asked where the ethernet plug was. My dad walked in and asked Eastwood "Where all the bitches?"... true. Andrea Ligori asked me to teach her some Thai, with ample opportunity and a hude crush at the time, I taught her "hello" and "thank you." My dad taught people at work how to say "big boobs."... I'm gonna punch myself in the face... The truth is, I could go on for pages, but I've had enough. Happy Birthday, dad!! Posted by Amazin at June 3, 2004 09:42 PMComments
