Hey thanks for remembering! I'm terrible at remembering people's birthdays and so it always surprises me when someone remembers mine. Also, a correction, I've known you since you were about, what, two or three when my mom used to watch you while your parents were both working (do you remember my dad teaching you to say your dog's name was "Thai food"?!?), but we didn't become friends until you were in the sixth grade. Thanks for being such a good friend.

Ok, we went out to Houlihans a couple of months before you headed out to Thailand. They gave our table a card to fill out about how the service was, etc. Well, they emailed me a coupon for a free birthday dinner (and surprisingly it included anything on the menu, from filet mignon to shrimp). So, if you hadn't suggested we go out there I wouldn't have gotten a free birthday dinner filled with both steak, shrimp, and calamari.
