Your mom, you're telling me, you're telling me about... your mom?! What is the matter with you?!- Ross

My mom is on a business trip right now so I don't know if she'll see this, but Happy Mother's Day (Thai holiday).

Speaking of my mom, every girl I end up talking to for longer than a few hours (mostly friends of friends, most people, let alone girls aren't interested in talking to me for more than a few hours... but for those first few hours I am really fun, after that I start to trail off... right, Andrea?) will say "Mah-kay" (in the way my mom says it, but not when she's callin me from upstairs, but when she's in a good mood). Two things happen at this point. One, the girl, no matter what she looks like, suddenly becomes a young version of my mom (which is über-weird if I thought she was hot). After that, once I am able to get that image out of my head, I can't stop thinking about my mom (no, not like that... perverts; like picturing my mom and dad when they were young and roaming these same streets (which makes me realize that they probably got into some serious shite, which is why they're always so worried about me)).

CHANDLER: And, ah, you know, your fooling around with her. And you get all these like, mental images in your brain, you know, like Elle MacPherson, or that girl at the Xerox place....
ROSS: With the belly-button ring? Oh, muhawa!
CHANDLER: I know, And then all of the sudden your Mom pops into your head. And your like 'Mom, get outta here!' You know, but of course, like, after that you can't possibly think of anything else, and you can't, you know, stop what your doing. So it's kinda like, you're, you know. You know...(Ross just stares at him). You don't know!

On the topic of family, I mentioned previously that I recently found out that I've been mispronouncing my name, Permsuvan. Keith asked me how it's supposed to be pronounced, but my "betrayal" post kind of interrupted everything. Anyways, the accent is on the "Perm" not the "su" with the "r" in Perm being very slight, the "su" is very short, and the "v" is pronounced as a "w" making it wan (like a wand) instead of van. It is pronounced more like Pehrmsuwan. I bring this up because I recently found out what my middle name (Saharath) means. I thought it meant America, but I've learned that it means, "united," pretty cool.

So, as I was saying, Happy Mother's day, mom.
